Afit Istiandaru S.Pd., M.Pd
Afit Istiandaru adalah staff pengajar (lektor) pada program studi S1 Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta. Studi S1 diselesaikan pada tahun 2011 pada program studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), dan studi S2 diselesaikan pada tahun 2014 pada program studi Pendidikan Matematika di perguruan tinggi yang sama. Berbagai profesi pendidik matematika pernah dijalani, seperti menjadi tutor bimbingan belajar hingga tahun 2016, menjadi guru matematika SMP hingga tahun 2013, dan menjadi dosen pendidikan matematika hingga kini. Dengan fokus kepakaran di bidang pendidikan matematika realistik, beberapa karya yang dihasilkan dalam lima tahun terakhir di antaranya adalah buku teks matematika nasional untuk kelas 5 dan kelas 2 SD yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Perbukuan Kemdikbudristek RI pada tahun 2022, serta artikel tentang kajian etnomatematika materi himpunan pada konteks wayang kulit yang diterbitkan di jurnal internasional bereputasi di tahun 2021. Selain itu, beberapa organisasi akademik maupun profesi juga diikuti seperti Perkumpulan Pendidikan Kepemimpinan Perguruan Tinggi (PEMIMPIN), Indonesian Mathematics Educators Society (IMES), dan Himpunan Editor Berkala Ilmiah Indonesia (HEBII). Afit Istiandaru is an assistant professor at Mathematics Education Department of Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics education in 2011 and a master's degree in mathematics education in 2014 from Semarang State University. As a mathematics educator, he is experienced in tutoring mathematics for all levels of education from 2009 to 2016, becoming a mathematics teacher at a lower secondary school from 2011 to 2013, and becoming a mathematics lecturer from 2016 to the present. Focusing on his expertise in realistic mathematics education, he collaboratively wrote a national mathematics textbook for Grade 5 and Grade 2 primary school and a research paper about ethnomathematics of sets and Javanese puppets published in a highly reputable international journal. Besides, he is also involved in some academic and professional organizations such as Perkumpulan Pendidikan Kepemimpinan Perguruan Tinggi (PEMIMPIN - Association for Higher Education Leadership Development ), Indonesian Mathematics Educators Society (IMES), dan Himpunan Editor Berkala Ilmiah Indonesia (HEBII - Association for Indonesian Journal Editors).
